    startup items

    hi,
I have these 2 startup items.
I am wondering if it is safe to stop them from starting up with windows.
Would it be ok if I disabled them from starting up via msconfig?
    thanks.

    startup item: Insfbebn
    command: rundll32.exe"C:\WINDOWS\sytem32\Insfbebn.dll",real set
    location: common startup

    startup item: reset
    command: c:\WINDOWS\repair.bat
    location: common startup

In general, I do not recommend disabling startup items unless it is a temporary measure that would prove that the items are not needed.

If your startup items are unknown, it is best to evaluate them for potential malware issues (in a context). Accordingly, the first step would be to produce and post a HiijackThis LOG as per procedures found here:

It might also be useful to load up the following file in NOTEPAD and post its contents for review:

    c:\WINDOWS\repair.bat
