Hey folks,

after doing some lurking, i am hoping someone can help me. I have run AVG and spybot and adaware...so far they have not detected serious threats, yet i am having trouble opening internet explorer, i am having trouble opening and downloading various programs. I can browse with firefox without too many issues, although i will get error messages from time to time. Examples of what i am seeing frequently are:

MSIEXEC.exe has encountered a problem

internet explorer has encountered a problem

lwinnudv.exe has encountered a problem

my system is also shutting down randomly for time to time

Any help is greatly appreciated!
