Not much came out of that:

C:\Program Files\AskPBar\bar\1.bin\ASKPBAR.DLL Infected: not-a-virus:AdTool.Win32.MyWebSearch.a skipped

We should get rid of the AskPBar since it is part of "mywebsearch" which is adware/spyware

Most of that stuff is in the system restore which will go away when we create a new restore point or stuff was found in quarantine folders and they are as good as dead when you delete the program they are with.

Run hijackthis and click on scan only button and put checks next to these:

R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: Ask Toolbar BHO - {F4D76F01-7896-458a-890F-E1F05C46069F} - C:\Program Files\AskPBar\bar\1.bin\ASKPBAR.DLL

O3 - Toolbar: Ask Toolbar - {F4D76F09-7896-458a-890F-E1F05C46069F} - C:\Program Files\AskPBar\bar\1.bin\ASKPBAR.DLL

With nothing open but hijackthis click on "fix checked"

Now reboot into safe mode by tapping your F8 key upon restart and safe mode screen appears, select safe mode and press enter.

Navigate to these files or folders using Windows Explorer (OR Start -> Search) and delete (if present):

DELETE FOLDERS

C:\Program Files\AskPBar

Reboot normal mode.

What is MyBuddy in your hijackthis log.
