    Exclamation Unwelcome Guest

I am a complete novice and require help in simple english. Earlier today I found that I could no longer connect straight to Virgin Media my ISP and instead whenever I used my regular shortcut I was diverted to, or so I thought, the Security Centre of Windows Internet Explorer and a message appeared referring to W32.MYZOR.FK@fy and, from a (new) flashing Exclamation Mark "SYSTEM ALERT" and a fairly lengthy message about ensuring I had adequate Anti Spyware and how I could connect to Spylocked. I realised that perhaps there was something strange about this when I was advised that the source was not secure and some of the spelling was incorrect. As a result I ran Spyware Blaster and Spybot Search & Destroy - and AVG antivirus which I believed protected my system. This was innefective. As a result I decided that I ought to invest in other than freeware and I invested in XoftSpySE and RegCure from paretoLOGIC (www.paretologic.com) and removed from my system Spybot & Spyware programmes. I searched on Google about THE W32.MYZOR thing and SPYLOCKED - it was confirmed that they were indeed "unwelcome Guests"
On DAL I found mention of AVG Antispyware which I have downloaded and run but still I have this flashing Exclamation Mark / Blue Circle with yellow cross next but one to the clock (bottom Right of screen) Every so often the System Alert box appears and this (or double clicking on the Exclamation mark) leads me, if I'm online, to SPYLOCKED website. To sum up PARETOLOGIC XoftSpySE and RegCure and AVG ANTIVIRUS & ANTISPY have failed to rid me of what I percieve to be Spyware and I am concerned as to how much my system is at risk, not just by what I can see but also by what I can't.
Some simple instructions as to what my problem is and how I can cure please
    thanks

    Welcome,

At the bottom of my post is a link to hijackthis, scroll down untill you find it and run the program and follow instructions and copy/paste hijackthis back into this same thread.

    Thanks.

    Please download http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Please do not run any other option until asked to do so, Thanks

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Please post a new hijackthis log and the smitfraudfix log. Thanks.

Apologies for not responding to suggested remedy - have been away. The frequent application of Paretologic anti Spy and AVG Antispy Checks have appeared to have rectified 90% of my problems BUT I am without the Recycle Icon on my desktop and, more crucial, nowhere on my registry appear any files to do with Recycle - I can send articles to the Recycle Bin but cannot access it. Have tried Win XP Help Advice and consulted Waynes Remedies but with no success. Most remedies appear to rectify the 'missing' Icon but thats not the real problem - where have the Recycle files gone from my C drive, How, Where and How do I replace if that is what required.????Whilst prepared to do as suggested I would appreciate some feedbacks as to (my first posting requested this) Whys Hows and Wherefores of the fault(s) I am experiencing - without explanation and instruction one learns little and I would like to try and understand why the remedy suggested might rectify my problem and how.
    Thanks RichardMH
