I am having an impossibly difficult time trying to restart my computer in Safe Mode, therefore I have not been able to delete the above files.

I did download and run AdAware. Should I post that log? Or just fix it through the software?

Delete as many as you can in NORMAL MODE. Some may also get removed by 'A Squared' - just carry on. Or just pay the minor fee to have Panda do it (your time or your money - your choice).

Would you suggest I just leave the Netscape and Internet Explorer on the computer, as I couldn't uninstall them previously?

You will still need IE to achieve certain tasks such as 'critical updates' - so it should remain.
