Regedit closing...
this must be atleast the 20th thread looking for the solution but ive not found one that matchs my problem...
I cannot supply a HijackThis log due to the fact that the trojan/spyware that is closing my regedit also seems to be closing HijackThis.
Has anyone else had this problem and has solved it? If so please reply.

Have you downloaded Hiajck This? If so, then try running it from safe mode and getting a log. That's not the best way to get one as lots of stuff won't be shown but it's better than nothing. Here are directions for getting into safe mode:
- Reboot into safe mode.
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.
See if that gets us one.
