Hi, im really facinated at the fast responses and the overall helpfulness of this forum, i visit this site frequently to read up abit but have never had many problems myself, until recently. Me being a big downloader have all the necessary protection but recently my computer has gotten really slow internet wise and gets really laggy in games and browsing, i would appreciate it if anyone could take a look at my HJT log, ty.

Unzip it to it own folder or to your desktop.
Run RootkitRevealer.exe and scan your system. When the scan is complete click on File, Save, and save the log file. Copy and paste the log file here.

Next,

Stop and Disable a Service

• Go to Start » Run » type: Services.msc » OK.
• Scroll down and find this service: (bracketed TEXT service name{s} listed above)
• Double-click on it.
• Under the General tab, click the Stop button.
• Then change the Startup Type to Disabled.
• Click Apply and then OK.

Next:

• Run HijackThis.
• Click on ’Open the Misc Tools section’.
• Click on ’Delete an NT Service’.
• Enter the (service name TEXT identified in brackets) into that field (make sure there are NO spaces before or after the name):
  service name(s)
• Click OK and select NO when asked to reboot.

Do a search for "winunins.ini" and if it exists open it in Notepad.
Copy and paste the contents of "winunins.ini" here.



REBOOT and post a revised HijackThis LOG.

rootkitrevealer is failing to save the log, ive tried 3 times and it just freezes when i click save. sorry il try again later
