Cool how do i track which app is using a particular dll

    Hi

    I have WinXP pro

Recently, spybot and ad aware cleaned out my system of some suspicious registry entries. spybot was unable to remove rpcc.dll, which was in my windows/system32 folder as it was already in use.

i removed the entry from the startup.ini and i think i will be able to delete this dll the next time i start up.

i want to know if there is any way to track which application will access a named dll. if so, could you please tell me the method to track it.

    thanks

Try investigating 'Process Explorer' for Windows v10.21
Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded and their utilization in real-time.
    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sys...sExplorer.mspx

    MENU OPTION: Find>Find DLL

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
    Thanks!!

The dll is not running now.. I will delete it by next startup.

process explorer will prove quite useful, combined with spybot and ad aware.
