Hi again. Well, so far, so good. I restored her system to 10/31/06 and things seem to have improved. Upon reboot, it had me download the latest AT&T Yahoo DSL software, plus the latest WinXP updates, including IE 7. Also, Yahoo DSL appears to have its own version of a browser it wants to use. So, I probably should not have been using the "raw" Internet Explorer browser in the past. So far, by using only the Yahoo DSL internet browser, the system is running a lot better. It's still a bit slow, in my opinion, but much improved from before.

I suppose that, at some point, I pretty much have to go back to the top of this thread and repeat all previous recommended scans and actions? (I will try to do that in the near future.) I already did make sure that NetZero and AOL were still uninstalled.
