I am having problems with my internet connection is there any tweak i can do to fix the problem. Also do i have a virus or anythign?

Welcome,

1. Have you installed anything previously to this problem?

2. Sometimes malware will hide from hijackthis.exe and sometimes renameing it will reveal some hidden problems(malware). So find hijackthis.exe and right click on it and select rename and type in foolyou.exe and press enter and post the newly renamed hijackthis please.

3. Have you contacted your Internet Service Provider about the issue?

1.) Download WinSockFix. (by: Option^Explicit)
2.) UnZip WinsockFix.zip (Pay close attention to where the file is extracted to.)
3.) Run WinsockFix.exe.
4.) Click the Fix button.

To clean your temp folder, recycle bin, etc..please download this free tool:

CCleaner

Don't install any Toolbars, or other programs, should it ask you!Just uncheck the option of installing the Yahoo toolbar.
It will put a shortcut on your Desktop.

Uncheck cookies

Before first use:
Select Options then Advanced.
UNCHECK "Only delete files in Windows Temp folder older than 48 hours"

Click on CCleaner to start it. Then click "Run Cleaner", just use the windows tab up front by default.

Then Reboot (Exit)

Please post a new hijackthis log(foolyou.exe)
