    Smile Java Byte Verify

AVG Free has detected 22 viruses on my pc.

Following the instructions for Java/ByteVerify removal on AVG forum, I managed to delete all of the infected java folders in C:\WINDOWS\Profiles

I cannot however, remove the files in
    C:\RECYCLED\

    DC11\javapi\v1.0\jar\jar.jar… etc

I went to C:\RECYCLED and deleted the folders DC11 etc, but a file named INFO2 won’t delete and when I tried to delete it, several folders reappeared D24, D25 and so on. When I try to delete again, these folders appear but the numbers increase – D56, D57 etc.

I have run AdAware and Spybot.

Also, is it possible to find out where these viruses, worm, trojans have come from?

My stepdaughter spends a lot of time on the net in chat rooms, smiley downloading etc, and we seem to be inundated with viruses whenever she’s been on the net.

I have tried to explain to her that it would be best if she visited only “reputable” websites but the message isn’t getting through.

    Aaarrrgghhh!

Does anyone have any advice on that one?

    Thanks
