hi all

just wanted to post that i had the dl.exe virus thing and tried all the steps i read in the other threads on here. none of them worked unfortunately. i installed AVG and ewido, but as the nasty had downed my internet i couldn't update them - not even in safe mode with networking.

however i downloaded vcleaner.exe from the AVG site, followed the instructions, and it worked a treat! no sign of that damn virus left, so i was then able to update ewido and AVG.

just thought this might help someone down the track
