Windows Defender Definitions
I downloaded Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. Once I installed it said the definitions were out of date. When I tried to update the definitions it said unable to find Windows Defender. Can anyone tell me what is going on and how to get this software to update defintions?

Don't know about that, sounds like you did it right, might consider posting a hijackthis log just in case some malware is causeing the problem.
