ERROR: Unable to paste this so I will write it in here:

iexplore.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f581bf" referenced memory at "Ox6469764a". The memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
Note the debug does not work... I can never debug and even if it went into debug I wouldn't know how to debug.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

The solution may be:

Go to START > CONTROL PANEL > DISPLAY > NVIDIA NVIEW DESKTOP MANAGER > tab DESKTOP MANAGEMENT > PROPERTIES > tab APPEARANCE > EFFECTS and uncheck the FADE EFFECT option.


Are your 'critical updates' current? Sysfader has beed linked to Malware issues.
Here is Microsoft's Malicious Software Scan & Fix which is often automatically updated and run with each 'critical update':

• Uncheck ‘Cookies’ option (advisable)

I do not have the same options as you do.... I do not see Nvidia as a tab under the Display dialog box.

I run ccleaner regularly already and yes, have cleaned out temp files or a regular basis.

That comment was more specifically related to any possible issues found by 'smitfraudfix' scan. A disturbing pattern is emerging - each new scan comes with interference issues.

I await any further details available from any error message content. Until then, we have little to go on to help determine a focused strategy.

SysFader errors

SysFader:iexplore.exe Application error
Instruction at "0x017838ae" referenced memory at "0x018a31a0" the memory could not be "read" Click on OK to terminate the program

This repeated many times in sucession with different memory being referenced (ie that which is within the " " marks above.

Any indication of what this is about and how to correct this? Back to the original SysFader error question.
