This may not be a malware problem, just so you know.
I need to see an Ewido scan log please.
Go here BitDefender and run an online scan with BitDefender (you will need to use Internet Explorer for this scan). When the ActiveX Control has loaded, click on "Click here to scan" and grab a coffee.
When BitDefender completes the scan, select the "Detected Problems" tab. Click on "Click here to export scan". Save the file as an HTML to your Desktop. Then click on the saved file and allow it to open with your browser. Go to Edit - Select All then copy/paste that log back here. Post back and let us know what it found (post the log).
And post a new HJT log also..

Try running this:
Download http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/winpfind.php
Extract WinPFind.zip to your c:\ folder.
Please print these instructions as you will be going into safe mode.
Reboot your computer into Safe Mode by following the following steps:
Reboot.
When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should gently tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a Windows XP Advanced Options menu.
Select the option for Safe Mode using the arrow keys.
Then press enter on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode
Then open c:\WinPFind and double-click on WinPFind.exe. When the program is open, click on the Start Scan button to scart scanning your computer. Be patient as this scan may take a while. When it is done, it will show a log and tell you the scan is completed. Reboot your computer back to normal mode and and post the contents of c:\WinPFind\WinPFind.txt

We must disable the Real-Time Protection feature of Windows Defender for it may interfere with the changes we need to make.
To disable Real-Time Protection:- Go to "Tools" | "General Settings"
- Scroll down to "Real-time protection options"
- Uncheck "Turn on real-time protection (recommended)"
- Remember to reactivate this feature when we have finished all our work.
Scan with HJT and click on scan button and put checks next to these:

I can now again view streaming video on various news websites, but cannot view video on youtube.com and some other private websites (which I could previously). Just for kicks, I also ran a free Spyhunter scan which indicated that I have "Kontiki" and "Winactive" items (10 items in the registry and 2 in the files), but would not remove them. Perhaps they're somehow related.
Can I get ya a scotch and soda?

Your antivirus script protection might interfear or alert, please allow it to run after a bit box will say done.
Open Hijackthis.
Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.
Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.
Click the "Save list..." Button.
Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.
Plus a new HJT log please.
