my pc is infected with spyware and i think i have got rid of the main problem, but alot of my programs won't open becasue the 'exe.' has gone, and i cant uninstall programs because the 'exe.' is missing etc.
is there any free programs on the internet?? how can my pc be normal again? do i have to buy a virus program?? plz help me with a solution...

You definately must have an always-on antivirus tool running to ensure the health of your PC (using a real-time AV tool only one at a time). There are some good free Antivirus programs that are decent, including AVG and Avast!.

Please run the READ FIRST Procedures found here, if you have not already done so and post a HijackThis (HJT) LOG:

DO NOT FIX ANYTHING in the HJT LOG unless advised to - most items that appear in the log are harmless or even needed.
