Ok, I uninstalled the toolbar, the mail and the browser service. If I want to keep messenger do I need the install manager? I kept it in case I needed it with messenger. I hate when they give you all this stuff you don't know if you need lol.

And here is another hjt log

    HI,

Probably a good idea to keep the install manager.

You may have to disable spyware guard to fix this below

Run hijackthis and click on scan and put a check next to this:

    R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)

Nothing open but hjackthis and click on fix checked.

    How's it behaving?

    Hi Neal,

I did as you suggested and tried it out for a few days. I still get the error and I don't know, maybe its something that can't be corrected. I have noticed that things like my flash games and java haven't been working that great either. They seem to drag and stall and all of a sudden are having errors. My machine seems to be running hot too. Its been hot for a few days and the highest its registered when I turn on my puter is 200. I don't know if thats correct but dang. I have 3 fans internally and one externally. They are all working inside but when I turn on my puter it says that my fan is running at 0. is that what its supposed to say when you first startup? I still get the sticking and slow running of the java and flash when the temp is 69 degrees. I have scanned with trend micro (got an error that my connection was very slow while trying to scan) and all the regs like spybot and adaware. My laptop did the same thing with the flash games and java slowing down and sticking. Am I doing something wrong? I play the sims2 and things are slowing down on there too. I figured that could be from the heat so I don't play as much during the day. any suggestions? Thanks for helping Neal.

oh and i forgot to mention this but I got a bundle program and it came with "total system sweeper vol 3." do you recommend this program for me to try or should we fix the other stuff first or not use it at all?

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
I don't see anything out of the ordinary in your log, sounds like you need to take your computer to a local shop for the heating problem.

Never heard of this total system sweeper vol 3. What is it. What bundle package?
