A file was incidentally downloaded and windows informed me I installed something malicious on my computer. I moved to scan with adaware and spybot and then downloaded norton and deleted some things and I thought it was done with, but then norton notified me that i was sending a slue of emails. I cannot access my windows firewall settings, my desktop picture is now just a shade of blue, and my computer can randomly freeze up at any minute.

I consulted another message board but time is really of the essence (I have an important project due for school) and I would like to get this fixed asap.

He had me uninstall my old java and replace it.

    Uncheck these items

    Welcome to DAl,

Which forum is helping you also?

Those things he had you to fix are gone but...

    This_ O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [shell] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00004.exe"

Is a trojan that steals passwords, bank account numbers, credit card numbers etc., if you do anything like that online you need to notify those comapnies that you are possibly a victim of idenity theft.

I see you have Ewido I need to see a log from Ewido.

I also need to see a log from spysweeper that you have.

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

    * The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
    * Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
    * Now click on Scan Settings
    * In the scan settings make sure that the following are selected:
o Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    - Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    o Scan Options:
    - Scan Archives
    - Scan Mail Bases

    * Click OK
