Yes and NO. My primary field has mostly been accounting with a lot of overlap and responsibility for workplace technology issues. I have also worked as a end-user financial applications support analyst and have done advanced programming projects.

I am now semi-retired and spending more time getting to know a broader range of technology issues that I need and want to know better (in support of neighbours, friends, and clients). You don't need to know all the answers but mostly need to know where to look for answers.

Participation in these forums simply brings up many issues that I have previously encountered or will likely eventually need to address.
