Unhappy Help!!!! Before she kills me!! (RESOLVED)

Hi I was trying to download an episode of a tv show that i missed this week on my sisters computer. I went into Limewire and it came up. It was in a zip file and I unzipped it but when I did, JOKES ON ME, it was not the episode but a BUNCH of spyware and popups. Now my sister is out of town and she is going to kill me if she finds out i put all this stuff on her computer.
I have ran and reran SOOOOOOO many times, ad-aware and spybot OVER AND OVER again and there are always somethings that they can;t remove and then tell me to reboot and it should remove them BUT IT DOESN'T.
I have since removed Limewire because everytime i would shut it down it would automatically start back up on me again.

Something called a SURFSIDEKICK is the bigget piece of crap that i can't remove.
    PLEASE HELP ME.

Please disable the following application(s), as it/they may hinder the removal of some entries. Otherwise, certain cleaning attempts may be wrongly recognized and blocked as hijacking attempts or other potentially inappropriate behavior. You can re-enable such tools after your computer is clean.

    Disable Microsoft AntiSpyware
    1. Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
    2. Click on Tools, Settings.
    3. In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
    4. Under Startup Options uncheck Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
    5. Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
    6. After you unchecked these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
    7. Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware Icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.

    DELETE APPLICATION FOLDERS:
    1. Go to Add/Remove Programs
    1. In Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs look for any CLEARLY related entries for unwanted items listed below (or anything else you need to investigate or did not put in there).

      C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 3

    2. UNINSTALLER Alternate SEARCH (if needed): Otherwise, you may have to first locate and then try right-clicking on any of the given SEARCH FOLDER items ABOVE and further search (tick include subdirectories) for the following exact text:

      *UNIN*.EXE, *UNW*.EXE

This may reveal an uninstaller with label terms such as '...uninstall...EXE', ‘unins000’, or 'unwise.EXE'. Double-click that EXE, if one is found, to remove that particular FOLDER and its contents. Thereafter, check to ensure that the folder is completely gone. Otherwise, consider deleting the folder in question.

Ok sooo i there was nothing to remove under teh control panel. I deleted it yesterday but it still never removed the folder under C:\program files\SurfSideKick because everytime i try it won't allow me to because it says it is being used by another program.

As for searching for those exe files, well i tried the *UNIN*.exe and that broght up like 50 of them, for all sorts of things but i didn't notcie anything out of the ordinary. the other brought up 3 or 4 but nothing out of the ordinary.

So where it stands now is that I don't seem to be any farther ahead .
I did run that look2Me and when it rebooted it came up and said that C:\Program was missing a file and that file could not be located. but when I closed it the computer went on as normal.

But here is the look2 Me file

GOOD - Look2Me is now gone from the HijackThis log.

What am i doing wrong that it wont' work??
There is no one tool that can be a fix-it all when you get infected. Such infections are generally all fixable but the nature of the infections keep changing and so must the tools and strategies used to defeat those infections.

In the next steps we are going to try and stop a Service. It's possible that this entry will not show up anymore. In that case, proceed with the next instruction.

    Click Start then Run
    Type in services.msc
    Click Ok

Scroll down, locate if possible, and double click on the (bracket named) service called

Workstation Service Library (Microsoft Locator Service)

Click Stop and then set the Startup Type to Disabled.

Read over the following directions. Ask if anything appears unclear to you.

Download Clean.bat to your desktop: for later use to clean out your TEMPORARY and PREFETCH files.
    http://www.thatcomputerguy.us/downloads/clean.bat

We will be restarting into Safe Mode later on in the fix and you might not be able to access the Internet. Accordingly, it is probably a good idea to print out the following directions or copy them to a text file on your desktop using NOTEPAD. Read these instructions carefully and feel free to ask if you're unsure about anything.

SELECT HijackThis FIX ITEMS: Scan with HijackThis and place a check next to these items:

    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = about:blank
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {02EE5B04-F144-47BB-83FB-A60BD91B74A9} - C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 3\SskBho.dll

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [OUTLOOK] C:\Program Files\outlook\outlook.exe /auto
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SURFSIDEKICK 3] C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 3\Ssk.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WINLOG] winlog.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SURFSIDEKICK 3] C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 3\Ssk.exe

    O16 - DPF: {DF780F87-FF2B-4DF8-92D0-73DB16A1543A} (PopCapLoader Object) - http://zone.msn.com/bingame/zuma/de...aploader_v6.cab

    O20 - AppInit_DLLs: repairs303169572.dll
O23 - Service: Workstation Service Library (Microsoft Locator Service) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\wkssvc.exe (file missing)

Make sure that all browser windows and internet links are closed, even this one!
    CLICK ’FIX CHECKED’ with HijackThis.

Download the following reg file to your desktop. When it is finished downloading double-click on it and say Yes when it asks if you would like to merge the data.:

    Fixssk.reg [Download Link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/file...are/fixssk.reg ]

HIDDEN FILES: To make sure you can see all hidden files, please follow the directions here

SAFEMODE: Boot into safe mode by tapping the F8 key at restart and choosing 'safe mode' menu option (explained here if needed).

Delete TEMPORARY FILES: Now, hunt down the most common temporary file locations and the temporary file clutter contained therein (and of possible malware hiding places):

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE and hit enter.
When prompted select the C: drive and click ok.
    Check the boxes for:
    • Temporary Internet Files
    • Downloaded Program Files
    • Recycle Bin
    • Temporary Files
    Click OK or Enter

For additional, more thorough cleaning and for multi-profile user configurations:
(*) Run Clean.bat to clean up your TEMPorary files.

***** Clean out the Recycle Bin for items removed below, ONLY once you have regained the full functional use of your PC.

Navigate to these files or folders using Windows Explorer (OR Start -> Search) and delete (if present):

    DELETE FILES:

    C:\Program Files\outlook\outlook.exe
winlog.exe (search for the full file path)

    DELETE FOLDERS:

    C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 3

POST A REVISED HIJACKTHIS LOG for review:
Reboot and post a new HijackThis log with any feedback as appropriate - how things are now behaving: any new or remaining apparent issues.

Ok so i have some questions.
I was doing everything you said. When i went to the services.msc the locator service was already stopped so i just clicked on disabled.
Then went to the clean.bat page and this is what came up, nothing else

    del c:\*.tmp
    del %temp%\*.tmp /f
    del %windir%\prefetch\*.*
    del %windir%\temp\*.* /f
    del C:\documents and settings\*\local settings\temp\*.* /f

Then i ran the Hijack this and removed everything you said. Then an error #5 came up saying the .dll for the backup was in error.

Than I went to the bleeping computer and this is what came up... it did not ask me anything just all this stuff.

Simply Double-Click on both files to let them run (you opened them in edit mode to look at them):

Clean.bat - answer 'yes' where prompted to allow temporary file removals.

Fixssk.reg - this merges registry file corrections or removals related to 'surfsidekick' entries. Make sure that none of the HijackThis item listed for removal are still present - fix them again if needed.

I just clicked on the links you gave me and that is what popped up

    Ok here is the latest.
I was in Mozilla and it would just show me that text when i clicked those links.
So i went into Internet Explorer and it worked.
    so that is fine.

Fixssk.reg did not ask me to merge though, all it asked was if it was ok to go into the registry.

I did the hidded files thing,
then ran cleanMgr.exe, but even though it did ask me what drive i wanted if did not give me any boxes to click, it just closed and did nothing.
Soo i am not sure what to do there now.

I know i seem like a complete idiot here

I ran the clean.bat too and it didn't seem to do anything

I deleted teh outlook file but the Surf sidekick thing still said it was in use.

    OHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYYYyyyy

Because you are getting weird behavior from your PC (shouldn't be doing this) and I can sense your urgency, be very careful that you aren't going to make things worse. It may be better to take your PC to a professional for onsite resolution or involve your other family members. For example, I have seen a 10 year old try to fix a PC with grave consequences.

Download a fresh copy of Fixssk.reg.

    Go to Start (BUTTON)>Run
Paste Fixssk.reg into the input box and press ENTER key.
You should get the 'merge' question or we aren't going to make any progress without it.

Post your latest HijackThis log if anything has changed.

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
I did that, it says cannot import file fixssk.reg.

So now i am screwed right??
