    Welcome to DAL,

    Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    Under Main choose: Select All except cookies
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    =============================================
    If you use Firefox Browser

    Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All except cookiesl
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

    =============================================
    If you use Opera browser

    Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All exfcept cookies
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

    Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

    =============================================

    Please download this file to your desktop - http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelDomains.inf

    Right click on the file you downloaded and select install. This resets the trusted and restricted zones to defaults.

    Note: if you have immunized with Spybot this takes those off. You will have to re-immunize with Spybot. If you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE/Spyads, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both of those afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE/Spyads, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

    Reboot.

    Next,
    Download the Intermute stand-alone version of CWShredder from here: cwshredder.net/bin/CWShredder.exe
    Install it and check for updates then exit, we will use it later.

    Download win32delfkil.exe.
    Save it on your desktop.
    Double click on win32delfkil.exe and install it. This creates a new folder on your desktop: win32delfkil.
    Close all windows, open the win32delfkil folder and double click on fix.bat.
    The computer will reboot automatically.
    Post the contents of the logfile c:\windelf.txt, along with a new hijackthislog.

    Now reboot into safe mode by tapping your F8 key upon restart and safe mode screen appears, select safe mode and press enter.

    Run the CWShredder tool above and click on fix

    Then run the ATF cleaner while in safemode and after that reboot normal mode and post a new hijackthis log. Thanks.

    Excellent,

    Look in add/remove program and remove if present:

    Vip Searcher

    Reboot if removed

    Run hijackthis and click on scan button and put a check next to this:

    O2 - BHO: C:\WINNT\adsldpbc.dll - {05AEB96B-B7C0-4957-9C19-4F33AD742F5D} - C:\WINNT\adsldpbc.dll (file missing)

    Make sure nothing is open and click on fix checked.

    These 021's in hijackthis below all look suspicious and are probably related but there is no info available as to what they are, so please scan at:

    virustotal

    At the top of the page is a browse button for submitting the files one at a time, please post the results back here. Thanks.

    C:\WINNT\system32\Hokpnebc.dll
    C:\WINNT\system32\rwtizn32.dll
    C:\WINNT\system32\qtzpgv32.dll

    Hijackthis says the files are missing but sometimes hijackthis does not read those files

    Neal - Vip Searcher was not present in Add/Remove programs. And VirusTotal said 'file not found' for all 3 of those files.

    OK, thanks for the info, let's procede.

    Fix these with hijackthis:

    O21 - SSODL: BIIAFEGC - {73CD6CC6-619A-0853-573A-69411F2740F5} - C:\WINNT\system32\Hokpnebc.dll (file missing)
    O21 - SSODL: mtklefa - {F1D4AFAC-EBB6-48A5-DCAE-F960EC43019C} - C:\WINNT\system32\rwtizn32.dll (file missing)
    O21 - SSODL: mtkle - {15FC1C25-F075-4CD8-3CB8-8F7B42CAF439} - C:\WINNT\system32\qtzpgv32.dll (file missing)

    Again nothing open but hijackthis and click on fix checked.

    How is your computer running now?

    Just to be on the safe side we should do an online scan with Panda:If you can.

    If still having problems getting on the internet run this tool:

    http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dlwinsockxpfix.html
