i recently began hi speed internet access, i had firefox already installed prior, and it did work when i came on line again, well once i downloaded the updates and the newer version it has worked..this has gone on for about a weeka nd a half now ..i was referred here by a friend and was told to post my Hi-Jack this log so that someone may be able to help mw with my issues.. so here it is and any legitimate help is greatly greatly appreciatted as i much prefer firefox over IE....![]()

Do you have any access problems using IE?Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.yahoo.com
Try this test using IE:
Get to a Command Window:
Start>Run>CMD
Type the following exact text at the command prompt:
PING www.yahoo.com
The results should be as follows:C:\WINDOWS\Profiles\_vop\Desktop>PING www.yahoo.com
Pinging www.yahoo.akadns.net [68.142.197.84] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 68.142.197.84: bytes=32 time=86ms TTL=49
Reply from 68.142.197.84: bytes=32 time=85ms TTL=49
Reply from 68.142.197.84: bytes=32 time=85ms TTL=49
