    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSA64CHK.DLL
That would be a missing badware application being called by a startup process. What security related tools have you run recently that may account for such an incomplete removal.

Please post a HiJackThis log for review (see Read First Procedures link in my signature). Do not try to fix anything until advised to do so.

We recommend initially using three (3) diagnostic fix tools described here:
    http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=32403

The first two (2) tools, Spybot and Ad-Aware, will fix many common and easily resolved problems. HijackThis should only be used when there isn't already another program to kill undesirable baddies.

Otherwise, and for additional and more complex issues, it is often necessary to download and create a HijackThis log (HJT log) to help expert and knowledgeable users diagnose and resolve such less obvious issues.

DO NOT attempt to fix any items in HJT unless you are sure of what you are doing.

Creating a HJT log is actually quite simple:

Download the latest version of Hijackthis as described below:

This will install Hijackthis to the correct default folder: C:\Program Files\HijackThis
    • Click on http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis_sfx.exe ('Hijackthis_sfx.exe' ) and select the 'Open' BUTTON.
    • Select 'Unzip' using the default folder given.
    • WinZip Self-Extractor will report '1 file(s) unzipped successfully'.

    • Locate the following file (Start>Search>insert complete file path): C:\Program Files\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe

    • Double-click on 'HijackThis'.
    • When HijackThis opens, click on 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'.
    • A notepad window will open up with the HJT log contents listed.
    • Copy/Paste those log results into your reply:
      • COPY: in NOTEPAD, use Edit MENU>Select All and then Edit>Copy
      • PASTE: post HJT log using the 'Submit Reply' button; right-click on the message textbox>(select) Paste or use CTRL+V keys

NOTE: You can also create a permanent shortcut link to the HJT program as follows:
    • Click on 'HijackThis' (once located as above) so that it is highlighted.
    • Then click on it again but hold down that click while dragging the highlighted object to a blank area on your DESKTOP (and releasing that click).
    • Thereafter, you can Double-click on the 'HijackThis Shortcut' thus created on your DESKTOP.

Let us know if anything was unclear (or any suggested improvements to these instructions).
