I hope someone can make some sense of that. I have Norton and theres some stuff it finds that it cn't get rid of, just 100% what they are right now, but I read they have to be deleted manualy. The thing is when I search for the file they should be in crashed the C:\ search window(that was in safe mode.
I've just got Zone Alarm.
I get loads of pop up even when I don't have Internet explorer open and icons appear on my desktop and in some other files. Its started to make my computer run slower.
Please help!

Hello,
Please download and install APM from here. Also download and install Ad-aware from here.
Once you have installed Ad-aware, run the program and in the bottom right hand corner click Check For Updates. Update Ad-aware following the prompts and then close the program, we will use it later.
Now disconnect from the internet, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

My computer is still a little on the slow side and I now when I start my computer a message come up saying somethin about spybot not work, I think its spybot it could be something else it was one of the spy ware checker programes I downloaded. I don't think this is connected but yesterday night after I did all the stuff my internet did't work. I just got blank pages no matter what I put in, it's working fine now so I guess it was the internet nd not my computer.
So, is that it or is there something else I've got to do to get my computer back fighting fit?
Cheers
Terry
Edit: I forgot to say, my Zone Alarm firewall forgot all the programes I said are allowed to acces the internet as well. While I'm here should process1756 and services.exe be allowed because I have no idea what they are.

hello again
I wan to say thanks for all the help you've been giving me, I appreseate it.
First off, I keep getting info bubbles(don't know their propername, the things coming up from the bottom right of the screen near the clock) saying that my computer is low on virtual or visual memory and that it's making some more avalible. I have no idea what that means, according to my disk defragmenter I still have over 14 GB of memory on my C drive and a lot more than that on my other harddrive. Is this coming from stuff that's on the hijack this log or is there some other reason for this thing and is it important?
I couldn't file the files
C:\WINDOWS\System32\hfkfga.dl
or
C:\Program Files\Windows SyncroAd
and c:\temp\msbb.exe also had something like "webrebate auto install" in the same file
And those navigation failed things are back. They weren't there when I ran Hijack this yesterday and they weren't there when I ran it to get rid of the things you said about half an hour ago, but they were back when I ran Hijack this to post the new log.
Anyway, talking of the new log...
