    codalush (trojan horse)

Hi there, I have a problem that I cant resolve. A couple of days ago i had a pop up appear from my anti virus ( computer associates ) that I had an infection namely win32.codalush k (trojan horse) and that it had been deleted. However every so often it reappears so it is still here somewhere. Since this happened I cannot get into windows update but the pc seems to be working ok. If anybody can help me to resolve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi and welcome to DAL,

First thing I would like for you to do is post a hijackthis log.

Create a new folder in your C: Drive
Name it C:\HJT or HijackThis and move the HijackThis.exe file in it.
It's best for this tool NOT TO be located in your Desktop or in a TEMP folder.
This way you can undo any changes if something goes wrong.

Download the new version of hijackthis here:

Click scan and save a log file and notepad will open up with HJT inside. Copy/Paste into your reply. Thanks.
