Re: Help with IE 6
No it did not. Like clockwork, every 10 minutes IE opens with the aforementioned URL and message.

Having been requested by Neal to look at this thread:
The shdoclc.dll file issue has been seen since the November update on certain systems. Most are reactions from OEM systems.
I would suggest first off try System Restore to the point prior to the update.
If no go try removing all temporary Internet Files:
Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.

I don't know why you suspect shdoclc.dll unless you received that particular error?
This is a possible fix for shdoclc.dll file issues:
Please try these steps and check if the issue is resolved:
1. Click on start -> Run -> type "regsvr32.exe /i shdocvw.dll" without the quotes.
2. You should see a dialog box.
3. Press OK then reboot the system.
If the issue is not resolved, Go to Start -> Run and type in the following command
1. Regsvr32.exe /i shdoc401.dll
Next enter this command
2. Regsvr32.exe shdoclc.dll
3. Reboot the system.
