Yep, Panda got the little sucker.

Go into add/remove program and see if ISTBar/IST Service etc. is there and if found remove please.

Make sure you can see hidden files/folders
In Windows XP
Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab.
Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.
After you're cleaned, please "rehide" them again.

Hunt for this and see if you can find and delete:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\checkIn.dll

Also if you have sunjava installed it's cache should be cleared too.

And make sure you have the latest version if you have sunjava.

Install and run it. The windows tab should be opened in the upper left of the program. Click analyze and then click run cleaner. Just use the windows tab that is up front by default.

1.Uncheck "Cookies" under "Internet Explorer".

Thanks again for your help Neal. I tried the above steps but I could not remove the last two things you recommended as I could not find them. I am familiar with the CCleaner and use it often, perhaps not often enough. Have you any other suggestions as to removing the items still on my PC? My PC is running fine thanks to your help but if you have any further suggestions as to how I may protect my PC from worms etc. I am open. I have been using Symantec Anti Virus but it seems the worm slipped through anyway. Thanks again so much for your precious time and help.
