    HiJack This log...

Computer acts fairly normal except for mild pop ups when browsing internet with IE or Firefox, and yes I have run MS AntiSpyware, Ad-Aware, and SpyBot. As well as a Disk Clean-Up and Disk Defragment. The main probelm seems to be that when I restart or shut down, the computer starts up as if it were first installed on the computer(really slow). It brings up the Windows XP tour even when I click the box that says "Do not show this next time" And it also informs me about what the start menu as well "Click here to select a program" like it would on first install.

Here is the HiJack this log, and thank you very much in advance:

    Hello,

Create a new folder in your C: Drive
Name it C:\HJT or HijackThis and move the HijackThis.exe file in it.
It's best for this tool NOT TO be located in your Desktop or in a TEMP folder.
This way you can undo any changes if something goes wrong

Please download LSP-Fix from the following link and save it to a location you can find later if necessary. DESKTOP.

    Download LSPfix here:
    http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
    Or here:
    http://www.snapfiles.com/get/lspfix.html
Download it and save it to your desktop. If we don't need it you can delete it. Once this tool is saved we can go after NewDotNet.

This tool will restore your internet connection if you lose it while removing
    NEWDOTNET/NEW.NET.

If you do lose your internet connection run the tool and click "I know what I am doing" then "click finish

Do not run the tool unless you lose your internet connection

Go into add/remove program and remove IF FOUND

    NEWDOTNET/NEW.NET

    Reboot if it was removed

    Then:

Download LQfix.exe and place it on your desktop.

    Doubleclick LQfix.exe and click install.

Leave the default settings. If you change them, the fix will fail.

Make sure 'Launch LQfix' is checked. After clicking finish in the install, the fix will start.

Follow the prompts on the screen.

    Your system will reboot afterwards.

Please be patient after reboot, because there is a script running in the background.

Post a new HJT log please.
