    Hello,Irish_Scorpion & Welcome

First thing we need for you to do is move HijackThis to a folder
    in C:\Drive like so C:\HJT

    & have a look here

The application Messenger Plus is an add-on. It is not written by Microsoft. It installs spyware, LOP to be exact. Try and see if you can uninstall Messenger Plus via Add\remove Programs, and then if you still want to use it, reinstall it after we have cleaned your computer. Then choose not to install the Sponsor. If you are able to do this, then scan with HJt again in normal mode if possible, and post another log.

    &

We ask that you please have a look at these 2 links here first

    http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=15083

    http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=605

then once that is done we here will be more then happy to
    help with your HijackThis logfile.

    Hi,Irish_Scorpion

Will you do have one file we need to get off this PC as fast as
we can one we clean it off the PC there are some changs
we will need to make right away.

Press control-alt-delete to get into the task manager and end the follow processes if they exist:
    module32.exe

If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. if it is uncheck it and try again.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

This first one here if not set by you fix it
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.rinbuhbntmornxhshmtnws.c...U0l3cb/WuV.html
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = about:blank
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - (no file)

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [tgbcde] C:\WINDOWS\tgbcde\module32.exe

Make sure you can view hidden and system files: Instructions here

Then Boot to safe mode: Instructions here

Delete the following files\folders IF still present:
    C:\WINDOWS\tgbcde\module32.exe<---This file here

Then do a reboot & do this for me
    http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

give feedback on anything found that could not be cleaned

& are you running a FireWall????

ok i did everything you said, and when i booted in safe mode, that file wasn't present anymore, and yes i did have a firewall running, however it wouldn't let me post any threads at web sites, and on msn messenger, my picture wouldn't change, my custom emoticons wouldn't show up, so i simply took it off, and i'm currently doing the scan at ewido, i'll get back to you after it's done

edit: also what was up with module32.exe, what does it do, what type of virus is it, etc...

edit2: ok well i ran the ewido, and it found some more infections, cookies, all of em, and well my computers running SO much better, thank you TONS, i am extremely grateful for your awesoem service, i mean considering it is free, i will check back if i have any other problems, i'm also going to make a donation as well, thank you!
