    spyware related?

i am having trouble when accessing a couple of websites i use, normally after i submit my username and password, usually for my yahoo email and my mobile phone service provider (on-line service), the next page whether it be my mail or in mobile phone site case my bill etc, the page rarely ever loads.Ii normally just have blank screen with the status bar getting to 3/4 way along and seems to stop. I dont have any other trouble with websites, such as ebay or anything i submit username password, just these two. For that reason i suspected spyware. i downloaded Spybot search and destroy and ad-aware 6 and updated both versions after i installed. i removed various 'tracker cookies' but still getting same probs. does anyone know how to help? am i on the right lines??

I recommend you update to Service Pack 2 via http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

to be honest i would rather not update at the moment until it has been out for a while longer. why would this effect the way in which these 2 websites open in IE?

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
Sorry, I jumped to my last solution for most problems. It can sometimes help because its like installing XP again.

Could you read the Hijack This Logs post at the top of this forum and post a Hijack This log and I'll check your PC for spyware.
