I hope this is the right place to post my log. I am bugged with Search2Web. I have run Ad Aware and Spybot. Spybot keeps showing a problem with Wild Tangent (which I thought I'd deleted lol) and after fixing it 3 times it is still there. Please help. Many thanx in advance.

The application Messenger Plus is an add-on. It is not written by Microsoft. It installs spyware, LOP to be exact. Try and see if you can uninstall Messenger Plus via Add\remove Programs, and then if you still want to use it, reinstall it after we have cleaned your computer. Then choose not to install the Sponsor. If you are able to do this, then scan with HJt again in normal mode if possible, and post another log.

Prepare CWShredder for use: This is a free stand-alone program from Intermute.

Download CWShredder.
Save CWShredder.exe to a convenient location.
Please do not do anything with it yet.

Press control-alt-delete to get into the task manager and end the follow processes if they exist:

If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. if it is uncheck it and try again.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:
MySearch, MyBar, MyWay

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

Then do a reboot till us how the PC is doing & show new logfile.
