Unzip the files inside to a folder of its own.
It has to be ran in safe mode for it to work correctly.
safe mode: Instructions here

Open the folder and run the RKFILES.BAT, sit back and wait untill its finished, when
it is finaly finished a text will open. close it.
Make a log with hijackthis while still in safe mode.

Post the text located here C:\Log.txt please and that hijackthis log made in safe mode.

Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

Press control-alt-delete to get into the task manager and end the follow processes if they exist:

If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. if it is uncheck it and try again.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:

1. What does "PM" mean? Post Message??
2. the 3 .EXE's were not in task manager...?
3. Cas Client was not in Add/Remove....?
4. I cannot find the rjrph.exe to copy for you....any ideas? (show hidden files is checked...and Hide Protected Operating System Files is unchecked)
5. you want me to zip these 2 files and send them to you? I use WinZip...is that ok?

Then close out of HijackThis & try this here

open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u IWAGEHLP.DLL

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing.

Then do this here

Download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Place the following lines (complete paths) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each

C:\WINNT\system32\IWAGEHLP.DLL

For this file, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot answer YES

If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Now after you reboot but before going online do this here

Make your Internet Explorer more secure - This can be done by following these simple instructions:

1. From within Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then click on Options.
2. Click once on the Security tab
3. Click once on the Internet icon so it becomes highlighted.
4. Click once on the Custom Level button.
1. Change the Download signed ActiveX controls to Prompt
2. Change the Download unsigned ActiveX controls to Disable
3. Change the Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe to Disable
4. Change the Installation of desktop items to Prompt
5. Change the Launching programs and files in an IFRAME to Prompt
6. Change the Navigate sub-frames across different domains to Prompt
7. When all these settings have been made, click on the OK button.
8. If it prompts you as to whether or not you want to save the settings, press the Yes button.
5. Next press the Apply button and then the OK to exit the Internet Properties page.

No problem with the file. Its the least I can do for all your help!

I did as you said above, but cannot get rid of that Iwagehlp.dll. Its back after I did all that in Safe Mode TWICE. And a new icon for "Pacific Poker" was on my desktop after the reboots!

AVG is still constantly detecting a Trojan in my Temp Internet files. I delete it, and in 2 minutes, it prompts me again. I tried to heal it also, no luck. Its called AppWrap[1].exe

My internet settings were already set as you described, so I was all set there. Didnt need to do anything.

popular programs for doing this, is a freeware program Called Crap Cleaner. Crap Cleaner is a single utility that lets you clear your Cookies, Internet Explorer History, Empty the Recycle Bin, Uninstall Programs, Clear Usage Tracks and much more. As well as this, it has an Advanced Registry Scanner. Using a program like this is one of the easiest methods.

Please download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!
