    whoo hoo!
Its much better now, I still get a popup once in awhile...not like before though. The only thing that I cannot do is visit the Microsoft Windows Update site:
    http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
I get the "The page cannot be displayed" message.

Does this mean I still have something?

ok, i tested it. seems to be my firewall that is blocking the Windows Update site. I didnt even KNOW I had a firewall!! hahaha, I use Comcast (if that means anything) cable. How would I go about accessing the firewall? I also have a router/bridge/switch setup. I have not changed any settings at all for my internet.

    Hi,VetteBoy2002

Hmm ok for the Comcast firewall i would say goto the site
look under your settings talking about your user info see if
you see anything about firewalls or why not call tech help
at comcast for help with there firewall.

now i would also have a look in Control Panel look for
the firewall icon see if you have it running now if you
are running XP i would not use the XP firewall i would
    go for ZoneAlarm free.

& then you are running a router make sure that
is not running a firewall lit me know what's up

my pc has gotten worse again. I reran Adaware, Spybot, CCleaner, and Killbox....but its still bad. Keep getting AVG popping up with: C:\WINNT\system32\rjrhph.exe Trojan Horse downloader.Qoologic.CA
I delete the file, but its back in about 1 minute.
