Hi, I'm a newbie here to this site...I was previously using FOrums.Spywareinfo.com for my spyware tutorials but lately the site has been down and my computer has been acting up again. It seems that I can't send my files to my friend b/c her McAfee says my files are infected... We used to send each other pics and stuff but now she can only send me but can't receive. This only happens between me and her. I've ran HIJACKTHIS and this is the Log...Please Help me with the best of your Knowledge. THANK YOU!

Oo...Just to add...I already have and am using CLEAN UP, AD-AWARE SE PERSONAL, and SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY on my computer. I run these programs regularly...like at least once a month. So I hope my computer is not too corrupted/infected!

Well i am happy to say not much here other then this here

The application Messenger Plus is an add-on. It is not written by Microsoft. It installs spyware, LOP to be exact. Try and see if you can uninstall Messenger Plus via Add\remove Programs, and then if you still want to use it, reinstall it after we have cleaned your computer. Then choose not to install the Sponsor. If you are able to do this, then scan with HJt again in normal mode if possible, and post another log.

& may i ask why you stoped this item from running

it's part of your Virus scanner is it not

now i think the problem is on your friends end you
should have them check there system & i would hold

Oo i've known MSN plus was an add-on...and have installed it w/o the sponsor...so i dont think i would need to run HJT again but about the missing file...I'm not sure because my brother installed that virus scanner...Thanks for the help...glad to hear my computer is safe...but yeah my friend can receive file transfer from me on AIm but just not MSN...she said it was my computer but maybe it IS hers...THANKS again.
