trojan horse file left by anti virus
First can i say a huge thank you to DAL members for all their assistance and advice. Without people like you, people like me would be in trouble!
I'd love to have 5 minutes in a room with one of the many *******s who make computing a misery for so many.
That said here's a question
I ran Avg antivirus last night and it found the Trojan Horse Virus. It highlited 8 infected files but only deleted 7. for some reason it left c:\dfqule.exe - trojan horse collected.5.ao
is this a problem or potentially a problem and should i search it out an delete it or doe it not matter so much
Thanks again

Hello,
I would start by opening Internet Explorer and typing C:\ into the address bar. From there, look for the file dfqule.exe. Assuming that you can't see that file, click on Tools on the menu, then folder options, then select the View tab. After that, select Show Hidden Files and Folders. If you can now view the file, delete it. Once you've deleted it and any files/folders you believe are assoaicted with it, I'd recommend going back into the view menu and selecting Do not Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Once you do this, or if it does not work, please post back.

Hey HJThis,
I think you made a mistake...I wasn't the one making the post, and I'm not the new one either. I've been here since D-A-L started, just under a different user.
