Yes the logfile looks good but i would have a
fast look at the HOSTS file see if there is anything
you know was not added by you.

Thanks HGD, my hosts file is empty, no entries at all. Is it supposed to be? The protocol, network, services and example host file all look fne.

Yes most times the have as you seen an example host file
now i have no idea why they do this but here is a link
