Particularly Obnoxious SearchToolbar

This beastie is nasty. I've tried everything to get it, neither adaware nor spybot pick it up or even touch it. AVG has no effect, either. It has dropped itself in explorer as well as IE, so that no matter where I go, I'm looking at this thing. Normally I have no trouble getting these things off my computer, but this one is proving to be stubborn. (No, not the Google Toolbar, THAT I want.)

Someone remind me NOT to let the husband on my computer unattended? Sheesh.

Please navigate to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and download all the "critical updates" for Windows, including the latest version of Internet Explorer. This can patch many of the security holes through which attackers can gain access to your computer.

Make your Internet Explorer more secure - This can be done by following these simple instructions:

1. From within Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then click on Options.
2. Click once on the Security tab
3. Click once on the Internet icon so it becomes highlighted.
