Whenever i try and play a 3D game, not sure if it's just direct X or openGL but anyhoo the computer freezes and a loud screeching noise comes from the speakers.

My system specs are:

AMD 3200+ Barton
Geforce 6800GT
1.5GB RAM

First i need you to move HijackThis from the Desktop to a folder
on C:\Drive like so C:\HJT

Download LSPfix here:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

Start the program and then check the *I know what I'm doing* box.

Disconnect from the internet.

Move all instances of flsmngr.dll to the Remove pane. click the Finish Button.


Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

Was this put inplace by you if no fix it

About the sound problem i don't see anything in the logfile
but i do see this here

i see it's a program could there be some type of an option
to play with the sound have a look anyone have an idea
