Hi there

I recently got a hell of a lot of spyware and backdoor viruses
(this was after i reformatted and reinstalled windows and before i installed all the security updates and sp2 etc)

I have just installed all the updates and run adaware, spybot s & d, cwshredder and hijack this - twice.
It will not let me install Norton Antivirus 2005 so i had to install AVG (which removes the viruses for me)

I have attached a hijackthis log and a screenshot of the problem i get. The display properties menu has been altered and the desktop wont change. (As you can see from the screenshot, the display properties has only 2 tabs. I put my desktop into a 800 x 600 resolution for the benefit of me not having to resize the final image lmao )

In safe mode.....and they have gone completely. but the rest of the problem still remains.
