Please help!!!!! Mcafee keeps telling me I have a Qhost.apd everytime I turn on my computer. I've tried all Mcafee's help with no joy. Here's my HijackThis log I hope there's someone that can help me as I've had this problem for months and just can't get rid of it. Thank you soooo much :-)

Please change the location of HijackThis.exe.
Create a new folder in your C: Drive
Name it C:\HJT or HijackThis and move the HijackThis.exe file in it.
It's best for this tool NOT TO be located in your Desktop or in a TEMP folder.
This way you can undo any changes if something goes wrong

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [VC5MediaPlayer] C:\WINDOWS\System32\csmss.exe
O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe

Make sure you can view hidden and system files: Instructions here

Then Boot to safe mode: Instructions here

Delete the following files\folders IF still present:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\csmss.exe<---This file

now sometime has passed when you posted this so
please after doing the above post new logfile.

Hello HGD, thanks for all your help, sorry I haven't replied sooner, I've been away, so I've follwed your advice as soon as I got home, and it seems to have worked. he he.
