Hijacked to search-links.net (Resolved)
My home page has been hijacked to http://search-links.net/
I've run CWshredder and Trend but still it comes back.
I'd appreciate some help in getting this sorted.
Here's my hijackthis log :

Hi and welcome to DAL
Go to start > run > type regedit and then click 'Enter'
Then navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\explorer.exe
Highlite explorer.exe in the left pane.
Look in the right pane for:
Debugger.
It will have a path to a file and filename similar to:
"Debugger"="C:\WINDOWS\system32\wininit16.exe"
or
"Debugger"="C:\WINDOWS\system32\tasker32.exe"
I will need to know the path and filename please.
Also, I see you're using a selective startup in msconfig. I'd like you to renable everything so I can confirm there is no malware hiding from me.
Click on Start> Run and type MSConfig in the 'Run' box. When the System Configuration Utility opens, click on the 'Startup Tab' and make sure there is a checkmark beside each entry. Ensure the 'General Tab' has the "normal startup" option checked.
REBOOT when asked to by Windows to complete any change.
Then post a fresh log and info I requested about that file please.

Thanks for your reply but after screwing XP apparently and not getting anywhere at repairing it I took the plunge and installed XP onto another HD and will pull off all files necessary (after virus scanning of course !) off the old HD to the new so I had to give up on dealing with the virus that I had.
Thanks again.

No problem.
