    HijAck this Log - AltNet

    Hello everyone!

Today as I started up CamStudio I accidently clicked on the advertisement, which opened up IE (which I never use) and got directed to a site which crashed it, and I closed it. Upon arriving at my desktop I found Internet Dating, Internet Poker Playing, etc. icons, which I deleted.

I ran AdAware, which found a couple of items, which it "deleted". I looked at the list and saw I was infected with AltNet. I ran the scan several times, to no avail.

I posted on a aviation forum, which directed me to SpyBot Search and Destroy and also Microsoft's Anti Spyware Beta. I ran Microsofts program first, which detected and "removed" it, then ran SB S & D, which also "removed" it.

I checked the registry, and found that AltNet was still in there. I tried deleting it but could not. I changed the permissions, and I got an "error while trying to delete".

I read the same story from another person, and it turned out thatit really had been deleted but it was still in the registry, which caused it to appear on the scans he took. I am thinking that I have deleted AltNet, but still am not too sure. Here is the log:

    Welcome to D-A-L Ahmed

It is ok to close that window as a fix will have you run HijackThis again.

Sorry I am not a trained reader of these logs but owen should be about shortly.

Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

    O2 - BHO: BolgerObj Class - {302A3240-4805-4a34-97D7-1645A0B08410} - C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll
    O2 - BHO: ohb - {999A06FF-10EF-4A29-8640-69E99882C26B} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\nsz8D.dll
    O2 - BHO: TGTSoft Explorer Toolbar Changer - {C333CF63-767F-4831-94AC-E683D962C63C} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ap9h4qmo] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ap9h4qmo.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ndkmpf] c:\windows\system32\ulhudb.exe
    O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

    Click Fix Checked

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following files and folders:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\ap9h4qmo.exe
    c:\windows\system32\ulhudb.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

Reboot and post a fresh log

Pointless waste of time and I find that quite offensive, I and the other mods work hard to answer posts as quickly as possible. Despite the fact we may give the image that we are supermen/women, we are not and have limited time. You just give the image that your impatient. You got a response the same day and even PM'ed me!
