computer crashes - my hijack this log
Hey all. I just posted in the Winxp forum with this problem, and they sent me here. The problem is that at seemingly random times (browsing, listening to music, or even away from computer), my computer crashes and emits beeps from within the tower. Hopefully there is a clue in this indicating the problem?

Thats a clean log, no problems there. When you say crash, could you describe this more. Do you get a blue screen error? Or does the screen just "freeze"?
-
the computer shuts down completely, except for a beeping coming from within the tower. this beeping continues until i manually reset the computer with the power button
-
Can I refer you back to your previous post in the Windows XP Forum, tell them I've checked the log and its clean, I don't believe this is my department now, not the issues I specialise in.
