Hi there!

I just reformatted C: due to a virus infection. Reinstalled windowsXP and a new copy of norton internet security 2005 The problem is that it is taking an inordinate ammount of time to boot and shut down. That said, here is my Hijack this log: Russell aka Spuddy

I did as you said and have found quite a bit of junk. It still takes 3mins to boot up (far too slow IMHO) but looks like that most of this is either Norton IS loading up and establishing the network connection. It used to be so much quicker though. Hmmmmmmmm. More twiddling required, methinks.
