    Angry Trojan Downloader Onenet.E Problem

    This has been an ongoing problem for the last few days. I've downloade AVG, ad-aware, spydoctor, and just today HijackThis. I'm not sure how to get rid of this thing! Here is my log from HijackThis, any help you can give would be great!

    Thanks for the help! My sister's computer is now infected with the same virus. I am going to have to check her computer with HijackThis once mine is clean. Is it possible that we have infected each other? Or was it just coincidence that we both got the virus? My husband uses his laptop on our wireless network, am I to assume he also has the virus??

    Alrighty, I followed your instructions but am still having problems with the trojan downloader onenet E. A pop up window appears at random times and it says to use AVG to remove this virus but it doesn't remove it. It says it is located at: C:\SystemVolumeInformation1_restore{6CD01810-4AF0-DE07EB8CD51D}\RP370\A0072855.EXE


    My husband said that the file is in a hidden folder when he is logged into safe mode, but when he goes into administrator the file is not in the hidden folder so he can erase it. Any suggestions????

    I'm still having problems with this trojan virus. It is in a hidden file I can't find even in safe mode. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions???

    Ok, this is my log as of 10/14/04. I've tried just about everything to get rid of this stupid virus but haven't had any luck.... If you can help that'd be awesome! Do you have any information as to the harm this kind of virus can cause? I haven't been able to find much about it online. Just general trojan info. Thanks!

    Woo woo, it's clean? A few days before I sent the new log. I unlocked system restore folders and then did a system restore back to a date before I contracted the virus. That seemed to have wiped out the folder it was hiding in. That's good to see! Thank you for all the help That sucked! Where are most trojans acquired?? I want to avoid getting another one at all costs that was a hassle to get rid of.

    Most trojans usually slip through weakly protected systems or come bundled with software that appears to be legitimate.

    I'd post a fresh log to check that anything bad hasn't been restored.
