BTW forgot to mention i did a spybot and ad aware b4 putting this on but it seems to be getting worse i open neocron to play it get in game and with in 10 minutes the game as closed down to my task bar and i can see the memory running down ingame as u can look at ur mem usage ingame.

Have you had a read of the Cleaning Up and Speeding Up thread at the top of this forum?

yer i have pest patrol running at all times and scan weekly. i also use spy bot and ad-aware weekly and up date these every boot up.i clear out my internet files weekly and use nortons for clearing out cookis and active x's ect. someone i spoken to reckons its legitemate software causing the game to minimise to the task bar as its trying to refresh the desktop but im not sure on it i do now its caused my to get my arsed kicked a few times when we had clan fights.

Someone you spoke to is quite correct, I had a temporary files cleaning program that run every 10 minutes and that minimised my games, applications, etc. These two could perhaps be the cause. Try fixing them and see how it goes:

ok this is my pestpatrol which i normally close down when im on neocron but i will see if they are still running when i close it they should not be as it ask about closing them when i close PP down .EDIT:well i tried it and they do close down so it must be something else that is doing causing the desktop to refresh.

Try disabling BitDefender and Zone Alarm whilst playing Neocron. I'm just trying to go through all applications you have running so that we can pinpoint the one.

not had bit defender long so it might not be that ill try zonealarm my only concern would be using online games would i be open to hacks ect with no firewall running. but when i had zone alarm way b4 i played NC online it never use to happen unless one of there updates as caused it i will mail zonelabs aswell to see if they could look if ZLM refreshes DT
