Dear DAL

I noticed someone else posted a thread with a similar problem to me - the startpage trojan has altered my homepage, but also prevents me from opening my hotmail account. I have Adaware, Spybot and AVG, which detects and occasionally deletes it, but does not solve the problem.
I have tried running AVG in safe mode, with system restore turned off, but don't know what else I can try.
