Hi Guys,

You helped me out a few months ago with the Coolwebsearch trojan and everything has been fine. Thanks again, your help was great.

Over the last few weeks, however, I have noticed that my system has been running quite slowly and it takes some time to open some applications particularly after start up. My homepage is not being hijacked and everything seems to run okay albeit a little slower, I have run scans using the software you recommended but nothing has bben found.

I have posted you a hijackthis log and hope you couls once again have a look at it for me to see if you can see anything that is causing this slow down.

Please Remove/Uninstall the Ver of HJT you have &
install the Latest Ver from here

Please Download 'Hijackthis'! Save it in a permanent folder as in C:\HJT\ now double click HijackThis.exe, and hit Scan.

When the scan is finished, the Scan button will change into a Save Log button.
Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

[LEFT]I had a look on the blackviper site but nothing seems to relate to my problem, or if it does it's over my head.

My system tells me that I do not need a de-frag and I only had a few files that I deleted when I ran the disk clean up tool.

The system is still as slow.

The only other thing that has come up once or twice is Norton telling me i have something called bloodhoundexploit 6 & 10 and that it could not delete it. Could this be my problem? If you could reply with any other advice or suggestions to get my system running quickly again it would be much appreciated.
