    Question quuick Q

    hi owen
since downloading a lot of the spyware and adaware i've had no crap from pop ups etc! hurrah! until just now
just been onto moneyfacts website and i'm getting their pop ups - the proper blue headed boxes - 'Advertisement - MS Int explorer'. every time i move around the site - am i able to get rid of this?
i have been doing regular scans and updating everything????

1 more Q - i've followed the speeding up guide and removed the 'O4's from startup but the pc doesn't appear any quicker at all? is there anything else i can do? i have wondered if this is a case of upgrading with some more RAM - i took your advice an posted on the DAL hardware forum about 5 days ago but have had no response yet. ANy suggestions? service is not as good as on this board!!
    cheers mate

    I'm superman thats why

I'm afraid they must just be popups related to the site. Have you got a popup blocker?

I would suggest an upgrade in RAM, buts its not something within by area of expertise, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a response in hardware. Ensure you have posted your system specs clearly, they may need your motherboard make and model to see what you need.

    thanks
I did have a pop up blocker with bt yahoo but it was so crap it never blocked all of them so i disabled it.
do the other programs i've got not already include a blocker? spybot & adaware?
if not is there a nice user friendly one to download?
    cheers

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
Your right, the BT Yahoo one isn't really that good. Have a look at this thread I replied to early where I linked to two.
