Actually I may be mistaken, I believe Altnet is related to Kazaa.

Could you try downloading and running Kazaa Begone.

If that doesn't do the trick, post back and I'll see what we can do.

I already had kazaa begone, so I've run it again followed by ad-aware. I'm afraid it's still there *sigh*

Wow...it's all gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was really bugging me so I went back into the registry and just kept trying different things, couldn't believe it when it deleted

Only thing is I'm not quite sure how I did it but ad-aware isn't picking it up now, so that's good enough for me

Ad-aware and KazaaBegone might have made it weaker. Either that or you didn't have the permissions sorted right. Glads its sorted and happy surfing.
